The main difference is adaptation, it is a factor which increases the threat scale when things go right and decreases the threat scale when thing go wrong. In vanilla, is it rather slow to go up, and has a max at 24% (+\u002F-) which is rarely met because it so slow to go up and blows are so important with each death\u002Fdown colonist. In deity difficulty, this factor has a max at 60% (+\u002F-) and it goes up faster.\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>TLDR: brace for threats roughly 30% larger than  if you're doing well, smaller than  in dire situations.\"\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>...\r\u003Cbr>\r\u003Cbr>I haven't tested this much yet. Ran for awhile with Cassandra - no errors, and it seemed a little more intense, but it's hard to say with that little of playtime.
