Long range it's ineffective for most shooters, but very skilled ones can make it compete with the assault rifle.\r\n\r\nThis mod also changes the standard assault rifle's name and stats. The name is now \"assault rifle (M16)\" so you can easily identify it by text. \r\n\u003Cstrong>Stat changes:\u003C\u002Fstrong>\r\nAccuracy Medium Range 0.65 -> 0.7\r\nCooldown 1.7 -> 1.25\r\nRange 30.9 -> 32.9\r\nWarmup Time 1.0 -> 0.75\r\nDamage 11 -> 9\r\nCost 60 Steel -> 90 Steel (Components unchanged at 7)\r\n\r\nThese changes are to make the M16 vanilla assault rifle an accurate, reliable, but also more expensive weapon with a little less firepower.\r\n\r\n\u003Cstrong>The AK-47 stats as difference to the M16:\u003C\u002Fstrong>\r\n+0.1 Touch Accuracy\r\nSame Short Accuracy\r\n-0.25 Medium Accuracy\r\n-0.2 Long Accuracy\r\n-4 Range\r\n+0.5 sec Warmup\r\n+0.5sec Cooldown\r\n+1 shot per burst\r\n+4 (50%) damage per bullet\r\n-40 Steel +40 Wood -2 Components crafting cost\r\n\r\nThe idea is the AK-47 is much stronger at medium low ranges and unskilled shooters with a much higher potential damage. However it has longer warmup and cooldown so it's less flexible.\r\n\r\nIf you need help deciding between the two: If you want raw firepower, effective at medium range -> AK-47, if you want high accuracy at long range and a very flexible gun -> M16.\r\n\r\nWhy the M16 stat changes?\r\nWithout them the differences between the two were too small and one would just outclass the other (or they
