It just spawns in a collapsed rock wall in its place, but when that's mined away the roof is still there. This mod makes it so a thick roof collapsing gets rid of the roof. The collapsed rock wall left behind now has 5000 maximum hit points, with the actual hit points determined by how deep it is inside the mountain.
