阵营种族多样性 (Faction Race Diversity)
Faction Race Diversity adds per-faction race proportions and a separate xenotype pool for every race.
Faction Race Diversity adds per-faction race proportions and a separate xenotype pool for every race. Open Options → Mod settings → Faction Race Diversity to configure supported humanlike factions. The mod affects newly generated pawns only and does not batch-convert existing pawns.
FeatureWhat it does
Per-faction race proportionsEvery safely supported humanlike faction gets independent weights for Human, HAR and other humanlike races.
A separate xenotype pool for each raceHuman, Ratkin, Axolotl and other races keep their own xenotype weights instead of sharing one mixed pool.
Common generation pathsNormal raids, reinforcements, visitors, caravan traders and guards, and humanlike trade pawns follow the configured proportions where it is safe to do so. Animals and pack animals are not replaced.
Multiple expansions for one raceWhen several faction expansions use the same race, stable per-faction PawnKind variants prevent the last loaded expansion from replacing every faction.
Two bundled mixed-peoples factionsThe Mixed Peoples Union and its rough counterpart permanently use equal weights across all currently available humanlike races while following original rules.
Safety boundariesQuest pawns, scenario pawns, babies, mutants, special roles and requests without a compatible PawnKind keep their original result instead of being forcibly replaced.
Existing pawns stay unchangedOnly future pawn generation is affected.
How to use
• Open Options → Mod settings → Faction Race Diversity.
• Select a faction and edit its race proportions directly.
• Every positively weighted race displays its own xenotype proportions.
• Follow original rules removes the custom override for external factions and restores equal race weights for the two bundled factions.

A listed mod has curated race, xenotype, faction or PawnKind handling. This does not mean every combination is stable. Unlisted humanlike races may work through automatic matching, but are not guaranteed.

Q: Does it change existing pawns?
A: No. Only newly generated pawns are affected.
Q: Can it be added to an existing save?
A: It does not batch-convert existing pawns, but the current release is highly unstable. Back up the save and test on a copy or in a new game first.
Q: Why did a pawn keep its original race?
A: Quest pawns, scenario pawns, babies, mutants, special roles, hard-forced xenotypes, or requests without a compatible PawnKind are intentionally left unchanged to avoid endless retries or failed generation.
Q: Why can a 100% setting still miss some pawns?
A: Special raid roles, fixed quest pawns and custom generation paths from other mods may impose extra constraints. Please include the log, mod list, target faction and expected race in a report.
Q: Where should bugs and compatibility problems be reported?
A: Please use GitHub Issues.
