An Armored Trooper expansion made for The Dead Man's Switch - MobileDragoon. The ATM-09-ST Scopedog featured in this mod originates from the classic 1980s anime series Armored Trooper Votoms.
This mod adds a series of mecha and items from Armored Trooper Votoms and its spin-offs to the game. However, due to a recent job loss and my limited ability, the mod currently only covers the Scopedog. More mecha, original characters, and related items are unlikely to be made in the near future — please bear with me.
A single research project unlocks most of the mod's content. Once researched, a special "Airdrop Gift" event is triggered to help you enjoy the mod right away. (The items are deconstructible and movable. If you don't need them, you can disable the event in the settings.)
The mod also includes an easter-egg boss for you to challenge. After building your first comms console, you'll receive a prompt — then you can direct a colonist to interact with an orbital trade beacon to "summon" this mysterious figure. Do be careful, though. After all, he's quite a Stylish One.
Additionally, the mod provides a wealth of settings, covering visual effects, abilities, some textures, and the new pawns arranged for various factions. Whether these faction pawns appear, and how many abilities they can use, is entirely up to you.
All in all, I hope you have a great time with this mod, and that we may meet again in the next one. If possible, I'd love to work on something related to Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 next — though that'll have to wait until I find a new job first. A long, long way off 😭
