◆ Modern Bio Tab ◆

RimWorld packs a colonist's whole identity into one fixed, cramped Character tab. Modern Bio Tab rebuilds it as a full RPG character sheet you arrange yourself: movable, resizable cards for skills, traits, backstory, aspirations, alignment and more, all in the same flat, dark, icon-led style as the rest of the Modern suite. Set it up once, save a different layout per colonist if you like, and flip back to the vanilla tab any time with one click. Harmony is the only requirement, and it is safe to add or remove whenever you want.

✦ One Tab, Laid Out Your Way

  • Drag and drop: grab any panel by its handle and drop it into any column or position. Resize it from the bottom edge, and minimise it to a single title bar when you want it out of the way.
  • Two to four columns: choose the column count that fits your screen, with a bottom row kept for history graphs. Columns widen at lower counts, and the four-column view stretches the whole tab so nothing feels tight.
  • Per-pawn layouts: save one arrangement as your shared default, or give a specific colonist their own layout that only loads for them.
  • Hide what you do not use: tuck panels away and bring them back from the menu, lock the whole layout once it is set, and reset to a clean default whenever you like.

✦ Every Part of a Pawn

  • Skills: level-proportional bars with passion icons and a three-mode experience toggle, or switch to a radar chart that shows the whole spread at a glance.
  • Traits and Backstory: clean title cards that keep the tab tidy, with the full description on hover. Backstory, Diary and Chronicle share one card with tabs.
  • Alignment: a tabletop-style nine-point alignment chart read from a pawn's traits, personality and history, with a live breakdown of what pushed them there.
  • The rest: Aspirations, Education, Abilities, Comforts, Physique, Sexuality, Sex History and an Isekai level readout, plus Work History and Skill History graphs along the bottom.

✦ The Concept View

A second, full-page view turns the same data into a stylised character profile: a large portrait, the pawn's story and headline stats, top skills and health capacities drawn as bars, a stylised name in their favourite colour, and three side portraits that cycle through facial expressions when Facial Animation is installed. It reads like a page from a party sheet rather than a list of numbers.

✦ Two Looks, One Toggle

  • Modern: the flat, dark, borderless style shared across the Modern suite.
  • Vanilla style: a single switch reskins the entire tab with RimWorld's own grey menu-section panels, so it sits naturally beside the unmodded UI. Both looks work in every layout.

✦ Plays Nicely With Your Mods

Everything below is optional and read at runtime through reflection. Each panel quietly appears only when the matching mod is loaded, and nothing breaks when one is absent.
  • RimPsyche: personality facets as heat bars, plus interests, orientation, a Kinsey reading and sex drive.
  • RJW and Sexperience: a Sexuality panel with orientation, the Kinsey scale and a stats view, and a Sex History panel with lifetime records by category, a stats board and per-partner cards on hover.
  • Vanilla Skills Expanded: the full expertise list with its own picker, woven into the Skills panel.
  • Progression: Education: proficiencies and study shown in the Education panel.
  • Isekai RPG Leveling: a clean level and rank readout for the system's experience.
  • Pawn Chronicles, RimTalk Diary and Pawn Biography: a colonist's written diary and chronicle entries beside their backstory.
  • Sexism: the physique comparison graph as its own card.
  • Karma Reputation: feeds the alignment chart with a live karma score.
  • Comforts: a pawn's preferences, read at a glance.
  • Bounded Rationality and Hidden Enemy Bio: both information limits are respected, so hidden details stay hidden.
  • Work History, Skill Graph and RimHUD: history graphs and stat readouts pulled in where they fit.
None of these are required, and more are picked up automatically wherever the data lines up.

✦ Make It Yours

  • Scale the whole tab to suit your resolution, on top of automatic fitting that keeps it on screen.
  • Choose how the info strip reads, from icons only to icons with text.
  • Switch between the modern and vanilla styles.
  • Lock the layout, reset it, or save column and per-pawn defaults from the menu.

✦ Requirements

  • Harmony (brrainz.harmony), the only dependency.

✦ The Modern Family

Shares its flat, dark, icon-led look with Modern Notifications, Modern Colonist Bar, Modern Quest Menu, Modern Social Tab and the rest of the Modern UI suite, for one consistent interface across your whole colony.
Built for RimWorld 1.6. Pure interface, no new defs, no save data beyond your settings. Add it or remove it whenever you like.
