◆ Modern Social Tab ◆

The vanilla Social tab is a wall of grey text. Modern Social Tab replaces it with a clean two-pane dashboard: relationship cards on the left, a live social-standing graph on the right, all in the same dark, flat style as the Modern Needs and Modern Bio tabs. You can read every relationship at a glance, and the graph shows you whether things are getting better or worse.

✦ Relationship cards

  • A card for everyone they know. Each one shows a portrait, the relationship, both opinion bars (how the two feel about each other), and a romance-chance bar with the full breakdown on hover.
  • Every relationship is labelled. Family, lovers, fiancés and spouses show their proper title, including ones added by other mods. Everyone else gets the tier the base game uses: Acquaintance, Friend or Rival, plus any extra tiers a relationship mod adds.
  • Click to graph, double-click to follow. A single click swaps the right-hand graph to that one relationship over time. A double click jumps the camera to the pawn and re-centres the tab on them.
  • Pin the ones that matter. Pin any pawn with the thumbtack and they stay at the top of the list.
  • Action icons on every card. Quick controls sit in the top-right corner: the pregnancy-approach toggle for couples (Biotech), plus break-up and proposal buttons when Romance on the Rim is installed. Other mods can add their own buttons here too, lined up with the rest.
  • Try romance. A heart button under the list opens the game's romance picker (Biotech). It dims while a colonist is on cooldown.
  • Status at a glance. Off-map colonists show a caravan wagon or an away signpost on their portrait. Hover any portrait for faction, location and situation, such as Slave, Faction leader, Kidnapped, Lent or guest.

✦ Social-standing graph

  • Always something to see. The graph opens on the pawn's social standing, which is how the colony feels about them on average. No clicking needed.
  • A fortnight of history. Standing is sampled every in-game hour and saved with your game, so the line fills in as time passes. The current value anchors it right away, so it is never blank.
  • Easy to read. The axis runs from -100 to +100 with the zero line picked out, green above and red below. Hover for the exact value and date.
  • Per-relationship view. Select a card and the graph switches to that single relationship over time, with the full opinion breakdown on hover.

✦ Social stats

  • A compact stat strip. The bottom-left corner shows a small panel of social stats for the selected pawn.
  • Pick what you see. Click Choose to set which stats appear, from anything in the social category. It starts with Social Impact, Negotiation Ability and Trade Price Improvement.
  • Proper tooltips. Hover a stat for what it does and exactly how the value was worked out. Modded social stats show up in the picker on their own.

✦ Plays nicely with your mods

Wherever it can, the tab calls the game's own social-card code, so other mods' additions simply appear. It is all optional, and nothing breaks when a mod is missing.
  • Ideology. A strip across the top shows the ideoligion and certainty, and lets you assign or change the pawn's role right there using the normal role-change ritual. Hidden without the DLC.
  • Romance on the Rim. Couples get break-up and proposal buttons, with the acceptance chance shown in the proposal tooltip.
  • Vanilla Expanded Framework. Modded pregnancy approaches, such as psychic conception and lovin' for pleasure, appear in the pregnancy menu.
  • Intimacy, Friends n' Lovers. The pregnancy-approach control also shows up for mutually attracted non-couples, just as Intimacy intends.
  • Hospitality. Visiting guests read as Guest in the portrait status.
  • Animals Logic. With its animal-relations option turned on, unnamed animals show their relationships too.
  • RimPsyche. Romance bars gain an attraction reading and orientation details.
  • That ONE mod. Sex Drive becomes one of the options in the stat picker.
  • RimHUD. The tab measures itself against the taller inspect pane so nothing clips.

✦ Quality of life

  • Switch back any time. A small icon in the top corner returns you to the stock Social tab, and it remembers your choice.
  • Resizable and tidy. Drag the divider between the relationship list and the stat strip to size them, and the split is saved. Scrollbars are thin and only appear when needed.
  • Sort and filter. Order the list by opinion, relationship or name, and filter to family, lovers or rivals.
  • Safe at any scale, and mid-save. The layout reflows cleanly at any UI scale, and you can add the mod to an existing colony whenever you like. Removing it only loses the recorded history.

✦ Requirements

Just Harmony (brrainz.harmony). That is the only dependency.
