The vanilla colonist bar shows you a face and a mood square. Modern Colonist Bar turns that strip into a real command surface with three display modes - a smarter top bar, a JRPG style party panel, and a Diablo style warband strip - each remembering its own settings, down to the font and color of every text line. Behind it sits a Colony Command Center with squads, combat dossiers, history graphs, and a readiness score measured against the world you actually play on. Aggressively cached, so a large colony with everything on stays cheap. Harmony is the only requirement.

✦ Three Bars In One

• Top bar: the familiar layout, upgraded with live portraits, selection brackets, stat bars and job labels.
• Party cards: wide cards down the screen edge, the portrait popping out over a plate with name, title, role and task.
• Warband: compact tiles with a mood bar on top, a consumable belt, buff pips and a hero hotbar. Your colony reads like a Diablo party.

Each view keeps its own configuration - switch any time, nothing is lost.

✦ The Top Bar

• Corner brackets carry state: amber selected, red drafted, a red pulse on damage.
• Two configurable stat slots per portrait: health, mood, psyfocus, neural heat, readiness or any need, color coded.
• A live EKG option: a heartbeat trace driven by real vitals - races under pain, erratic when barely conscious, flatlines at death.
• The weapon strip: every carried weapon in one stable row, the wielded one in color, sidearms dimmed grayscale. Swapping only moves the highlight.
• Status badges and context icons: breaks, inspirations and fleeing get a badge; a corner icon reads the situation (sleeping, doctoring, aiming, burning, riding...); a live blood pressure gauge appears when bleeding out.
